Patient Experience Excellence
Frankfort, Illinois, has come a long way since the mid-1800s when settlers first journeyed to the area on Native American trails. Frankfort has become an excellent place to work and to establish a business...and continues to be a great place to raise a family! A quaint historic district, excellent schools with outstanding programs in sports, music, the arts, and special education. Numerous outdoor activities and shopping are nearby.
Frankfort, just 35 miles southwest of Chicago, is located at the intersections of Illinois State Routes 45 and 30. Interstate 80 is just two miles north, and Interstate 57 is three miles to the east. Interstate 80 and the I-355 extension gives Frankfort direct access to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. The Metra commuter train is close by providing access to the Chicago loop and all stops in between. Both O'Hare International and Midway Airports are less than an hour away.
Our experienced doctors and staff have worked together to provide our patients the most modern vision and eye health care and the highest quality in optical materials and services. We have met and exceeded the needs of generations of patients which has created tremendous patient trust with our community over the past 30+ years.
Our impressive staff of five includes two board-certified opticians who are trusted and beloved by our patients. Optical service and materials represent about 50% of revenue. The optical showroom displays over 480 stylish frames which our opticians keep current and on-trend. Contact lens service and materials account for about 40% of revenue and include many soft and gas perm lenses, with a few corneal reshaping, specialty keratoconus and scleral lenses.
Medical services represent about 10% of revenues and are provided by the practice as well as co-managed by a local optometric referral center and ophthalmologists who have been great partners in caring for more complex medical diagnoses. These providers always send patients back to our office for care. To sustain our mission of patient experience excellence, our practice is supported by two full exam lanes, along with a new OCT, new computer hardware, and office furnishing in 2021. Our Revolution EHR contains 5,500 patient records.
